'East Of No West' is the last part of the informal Craigentinny trilogy, a series of albums that I recorded during the first and second lockdowns in 2020 and 2021.

In 'East Of No West', I continued to explore the use of unsynchronised loops and let the music develop in unpredictable ways, while making use of homemade string instruments, cassette tapes, media players and other low-tech devices. I also introduced aleatoric and generative processes in my music that can be heard on "Tone Mosaic #1" and "Floating Over Seafield.
